Material for the Catalogue of Plants in Epic Folk Poetry

Hereby is displayed material for the catalogue of plants that are found in the epic folk poems from Vuk Stefanović Karadžić collections (1814, 1815, 1845, 1846, 1862). Verses are classified alphabetically by the name of the plant, and the catalogue includes annotations on plants next to Vuk Karadžić's poems. Church names, geographical terms and personal names motivated by the plant names, as well as formulas (e.g. “gora zelena“ – green mountain) are omitted from the catalogue.
