In the period 1995‒2019, Dragoljub Zlatković had recorded 114 harvest songs in the Pirot District (Southern and Eastern Serbia). Some harvest songs were sung during other celebrations and occasions, e.g. while working in the field or on sedenća (a vigil, an evening gathering of Serbian peasant women). A number of songs were varied and several variants of the same motif had been noted down. Zlatković provided singers’ names, and sometimes their comments or explanations of the song content.
